LSS support

Jorge Berzosa, working on the Robochair Project for the Laboratory of Human-Computer Interaction for Special Needs, have implemented LSS and FastScan support (DS-305) for CanFestival.

The Laboratory of Human-Computer Interaction for Special Needs main purpose is to develop solutions for the increment of autonomy and communication capabilities of people with disabilities. This improvement is achieved through either software and hardware developments as Robochair project.

Robochair is a mobile robotics open platform for Assistive Technology applications. In other words, it aims to be an open framework for future assistive applications and wheelchair-based robotics developments. It has been developed as add-on module for commercial powered wheelchairs. Its design is highly modular and based in open standards for easy extension, robust and low cost enough to be affordable to the most of people with disabilities.

LSS support is already in CVS, and can be enabled with --enable-lss and --enable-lss-fs configure flags.
